I picked this unit up in an attempt to alleviate what I suspect is an oncoming RSI. I have been using it for a few days now. The ball moves nice and smooth. After a handful of times of pushing the mouse with no result I quickly got used to using the ball. I dropped the thing on my first day and the ball popped out. After cussing I picked the ball up, popped it back into place and it was all good. You should get this unit.
